Bedtime stories
Usually before nap time or bedtime I will read to Elroy all his story books.
Today, before his afternoon nap time, I did the same and he actually fell asleep naturally while I read. Amazing!! In the past I used to be super frustrated because I needed to carry him and "swing" him so that he can fall asleep.
Nowadays, it's a breeze~ :) Maybe also due to the fact that he has already grown up :D

Mixed feelings
Suddenly felt that I want to document down the details of Elroy's growing up stage once again after such a long hiatus.
Just a few mins ago.. Elroy woke up from his nap at about 6pm. He sat over there and whined alittle. I asked him to come over me to "hug hug".
He quickly crawled towards me (which is such a CUTE action haha), and hug me. Usually he will give me a hug and wriggle out of my arms and crawl away a distance from me. Instead, this time, he wriggled out but sat beside me and cling on to my arms with his head resting on my left arm. And he stayed at that position for very long. He actually fell asleep again.
He has really grown out of the baby stage. He is now more sensible and more fun to play with. And this is the mixed feeling I'm having now. Although I want him to grow up quickly but that's way too fast! I'm starting to miss the days when he was tiny and where I can hug him close to me without him trying struggle out of my arms.
Well, in 2 weeks time will be Elroy's 1st birthday! Time really flies~~!!

Elroy is 2 month old
Spent Elroy's 2nd month with my family at Resort World Sentosa's Feng Shui Inn for dim sum and then S.E.A Aquarium :)
It was a day well spent. So glad that my family, especially my dad enjoyed this outing since he hardly has the time to enjoy. Just nice it was my dad's off day. :)) Hardly has the chance to spend family day with the presence of my dad. My dad has always been missing out all the fun since he is the sole breadwinner and has to work 3 shift. :(
Ending this post with photo of my dad carrying my baby Elroy :)
Yummy Dim Sum. Affordable too :P
Family Photo :)

Note to Self: Must bring a baby stroller when heading out. So tired carrying baby in my arms the whole day :/

Elroy's Full Month Celebration
I have never plan a party before and I was super excited to plan for Elroy's full month celebration. Planned months before he was even born :D
Anyway, held Elroy's Full Month Celebration at Bliss Restaurant @ Cheng San CC. I chose this place because it is near to the place we stayed, near to MRT station which is convenient for my guest to come, and most importantly the restaurant is cozy and bright.
We needed to place order for a minimum of 30 pax at $23++(7% GST, $4 for weekends) per pax in order to use the restaurant for this event. Its a closed door event whereby we can have the whole restaurant to ourselves for 3 hours from 11am-2pm. It is definitely not cheap considering the fact that this restaurat is located at a community centre.
I also ordered baby full month gift from Singapore Mochi. I personally felt that the price is cheap at only $4.50 for 4 items which includes two Ang Ee Kueh and two red eggs. And the packaging is super cute and the kueh tasted yummy.
Ballon decorations were bought from Harvest Well Enterprise, whose shop is located at Parkway Parade Shopping Centre. $39.90 for 1 set of balloon bouquet with 10 helium filled latex balloons. I added on 10 additional helium filled latex balloons at $1 each. To make it more convenient, I opted for delivery service which cost additional $30. So, total $79.90 for balloon decorations.
Some photos from the party:
The buffet food spread:
The food was average :0
Photos taken with my friends and relatives:
As the party is coming to an end, Elroy decided to poo and we got to change him on the table. :X
To conclude, it was a tiring day for both my husband and myself. However, we managed to get the chance to gather with our families and friends. :)

Baby Elroy's Birth Story!
I can't remember every single detail of my birth process, but I will try to recall as much as I could. I was 39 weeks and 3 days when I was in labor :)
I remember I saw "the show" when I visited the toilet at about 5am in the morning. Then after peeing, I knew that my water bag has burst as my pants was wet. I then immediately wake my hubby up and called up the hospital to check if I should head down to hospital as I did not feel any pain/contractions. And I was told to head down to hospital! Then I bath and all and we drove down to hospital.
Upon reaching hospital, the nurse put me on CTG to monitored my contractions, baby's heartbeat, and also did dilation check. Then doctor Dolly Wee came and instructed the nurse to put me on some drip to make my contractions stronger so that I could dilate faster.
Then after about an hour, I could feel very strong contractions at about 4mins apart and I quickly asked for epidural. The contractions were super painful :/
In between, I had dilation and BP checked by the nurse.
Then about 5 hours later, doctor Dolly came in, checked my dilation, and said that I'm ready to push! I was like: "OMG! Its happening!".
I was told to push all I can for each contractions that I experience( I can't feel anything since I'm on epidural, so the doctor and nurse checked on the CTG for contractions and guided me when to start pushing)
After 3 pushes, doctor Dolly decided to use vacuum on me( I believe I didn't do a good job at pushing, and doctor Dolly didn't want to drag the time any longer in case the baby is in stress mode). Everything happened so quickly and before I could react, I sort of saw the doctor pull out the baby! That's it! Baby was born! He was crying so loudly!
** Baby Elroy was born on 2 Feb 2014, at 2.41pm, weighing at 3.52kg and 50cm in length :))

38 weeks: 10th Prenatal Checkup
As usual, for every checkup the doctor will ask whether I have any discomfort, blah blah.
Was told that I have no weight gain. So, I'm still 62kg with total weight gain of 14kg!!! :) However, doctor commented that if by next week still no weight gain will need to induce. Hmmm...
Anyway, asked the doctor how heavy the baby is~ Doctor measured and said baby is 2.8kg! Ok la. Not too heavy/ big I think?! :P
Oh ya.. Also did a baby heartbeat scan today... Because I was unsure of how many movements baby has each day when doctor asked about it *opps*
My 38 weeks baby bump photo, not only stomach bigger, arms also bigger :/ :
Next appointment on the 30th Jan, which is Chinese New Year Eve :P
